Bryan's Journey in Education
Bryan's first journey into education was in 2003 when he provided math intervention for students at Quailwood Elementary while also coaching Track and Field at Warren Jr. High. Upon finishing his credential in 2006, he was hired for his first teaching position at Thompson Jr. High in PBVUSD. Bryan taught in the district for 9 years and coached Track and Field for all of those years as well. 2015 brought much change with the transition to the Kern High School District, teaching mathematics and mobile app design at Ridgeview High School. After two awesome years at Ridgeview, he accepted his first Administrative position at Mira Monte High School.
He served as Dean of Instruction at Mira Monte and then became Dean of Students at Frontier High School the following year. This coming school year will Bryan's 3rd year at Frontier High School where he now serves as the Assistant Principal of Instruction.

Bryan and his wife Heather have been married for 9 years and have two children, Gavin and Briar. His son Gavin (5) will be starting Kindergarten this fall at Reagan Elementary. Briar, his daughter has a ways to go being that she is only one year old. Bryan and Heather were both born and raised in Bakersfield and Bryan attended all schools in PBVUSD.
